Director of lyceum in Kyiv Region, where they taught to love "russian world", announced her intention to sue

After the publication of the investigation by Slidstvo.Info, the director of the Khotianivka lyceum "Rancho School" Yana Kozhema announced that she plans to go to court.

She wrote about this on Facebook.

Earlier, journalists exposed the existence of the school "Perspektyva", which operates on the territory of the monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church "Holosiivska Pustyn" in Kyiv. According to the investigation, children are taught there using Soviet textbooks and the russian language is taught.

Since "Perspektyva" does not have an official license, students are formally enrolled in other educational institutions. The documents of the students are stored, in particular, in the Khotianivka lyceum "Rancho School", as well as in one of the schools in Kostiantynivka.

During the investigation, journalists spoke undercover with Yana Kozhema. The director's contact information was provided to them by the head of the Orthodox school. In the conversation, Kozhema explained that the children do not actually attend her educational institution, but are only formally enrolled in it. According to her, the entire educational process takes place in the school at the monastery, from where the grades come, which the lyceum only enters into the documentation. At the same time, the students are listed as those who study full-time.

Already after the publication of the material, the director of the lyceum explained that about a year ago, acquaintances asked her to temporarily help with the registration of students until the school receives a license. She emphasized that she considers such a practice common for newly created educational institutions.

Kozhema also noted that at the beginning of her own activity she worked according to a similar scheme and at one time received similar assistance. According to her, she acted with good intentions and did not realize what consequences this could have for her personally.

Separately, the director emphasized that the reputation of the lyceum is of fundamental importance to her, in connection with which she is preparing a lawsuit.

What is known about the lyceum at the monastery, where children are taught according to Soviet books

Journalists found out that an illegal school without a license operates at the UOC monastery "Holosiivska Pustyn" in Kyiv. Formally, it is called a "family club", but in reality, children study there as in a regular school: full-time education, grades, tests, an extended-day group.

This school uses Soviet textbooks, teaches russian language under the guise of "Slavic", shows russian films and teaches Soviet and russian songs. Students' documents are issued through legal Ukrainian schools - in particular, a lyceum in the Kyiv Region and a school in Kostiantynivka - where children do not actually study.

The scandal is that an educational center operates in the capital of Ukraine without a license, with signs of pro-russian ideological influence, which exists thanks to the "cover" of official schools and the support of the UOC structure.

Recall that Metropolitan of the UOC Onufriy has a valid passport of a russian citizen.
