In 2025, the total volume of trading on the PFTS stock exchange reached UAH 845 billion, which is 163% of the level of 2024, or 78% of the total volume of trading by the organizers of securities trading in Ukraine.
This is stated in the exchange's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In the structure of trading for 2025, the share of government bonds of Ukraine (government domestic loan bonds + government foreign loan bonds) is 71.7% (UAH 605.7 billion); currency swaps - 21.4% (UAH 180.4 billion); foreign states' bonds - 6.1% (UAH 51.3 billion); corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 0.5% (UAH 4.1 billion); securities of collective investment institutions - 0.4% UAH (3.4 billion); municipal bonds - 0.01% (UAH 0.1 billion); bonds of foreign issuers - 0.01% (UAH 42.4 million); shares of foreign issuers - 0.006% (UAH 49.1 million); shares of Ukrainian issuers - 0.003% (UAH 29.5 million).
In 2025, compared to 2024, the volume of trading in shares of foreign issuers increased by 5.6 times, currency swaps - by 5 times, shares of Ukrainian issuers - by 1.6 times, government bonds of Ukraine - by 1.4 times, bonds of foreign countries - by 1.3 times.
Trading in securities of collective investment institutions remained at the level of 2024.
At the same time, trading volumes in corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers and bonds of foreign issuers decreased by 50%, and trading volumes in municipal bonds decreased by 80%.
In 2025, 55 (2024 - 51) trading participants concluded transactions with 230 (2024 - 217) issues of securities, in particular: government domestic loan bonds - 90 (77); government foreign loan bonds - 9 (19); bonds of foreign states - 36 (54); shares of foreign issuers - 31 (23); corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers - 25 (20); shares of Ukrainian issuers - 13 (9); securities of collective investment institutions - 10 (9); bonds of foreign issuers - 3 (2); currency swaps - 2 (2) and municipal bonds - 1 (1).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in November 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 77.4 billion (92% of the previous month's level), or 80% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
The PFTS index has been the official index of Ukraine in S&P Emerging Markets since 1997.
