The fifth President of Ukraine, Member of Parliament and leader of the European Solidarity Petro Poroshenko declared income in the amount of USD 10 million in the equivalent from the redemption of US government bonds in December.
This is evidenced by the data of his declaration, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on December 26, Petro Poroshenko received UAH 419.331 million in income from the return of the cost from the purchase of US Department of the Treasury bonds.
It should be noted that the official hryvnia exchange rate, which is set by the National Bank, as of December 26 was 41.9331 UAH/USD, therefore the indicated amount corresponds to USD 10 million.
In addition, Petro Poroshenko declared expenses in the amount of UAH 2,729,698 as a one-time commission to one of the Austrian banks.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, media outlets previously reported that in October last year, Petro Poroshenko declared over UAH 55 million in income. Most of it came from the Hungarian government of Prime Minister Viktor Orban, known for his anti-Ukrainian statements.
