President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the attack by the military of the aggressor country of russia on the night of Monday, January 5. According to him, the russians used 165 strike drones against Ukraine, about 100 of which were Shaheds.
"Tonight, the russian army "defeated" another hospital - in Kyiv - with a functioning inpatient unit. Patients had to be evacuated. There are victims. Unfortunately, one person was killed. My condolences to the relatives. Everyone who needs help is being provided," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
He stressed that the hospital will be restored, because Ukrainians always restore what is destroyed. And repair crews, power engineers, and all necessary services are working in the same way in those areas where new damage and new outages have occurred due to the russians.
"And our partners must not forget that air defense is needed every day, funds for the production of interceptor drones every day, equipment for the energy sector every day. We will work with European and American partners for weeks to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance. Thank you to everyone who supports our state and our people," Zelenskyy noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops carried out a direct attack on a medical facility in Kyiv, the hit occurred at low altitude, which confirms a targeted strike by the Shahed, and not the fall of its remains.
