At the same time, work continues on the Odesa and Kyiv Reg ions to restore stable power supply after the previous enemy attack.

Consumers on the front-line border regions of Ukraine remain without power for a long time as a result of hostilities.

"The situation here is the most difficult, as the restoration of electricity supply is complicated by constant hostilities," the Ministry added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 3, the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia Region) lost power from one of the high-voltage lines as a result of hostilities.
