RF carried out one of the most massive drone attacks on Zaporizhzhia at night - Regional Military  Administration

On the night of January 2, the russian terrorist army carried out one of the most massive drone attacks on Zaporizhzhia. 9 hits were recorded on the territory of the city - residential buildings, commercial facilities and infrastructure were hit.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.

"During the New Year holidays, the enemy did not stop attacking Zaporizhzhia and its suburbs. This night, one of the most massive drone attacks took place," the report says.

Fedorov noted that a significant part of the enemy targets were destroyed on the approach to the city, which made it possible to avoid injuries among the residents that night.

At the same time, the enemy managed to hit the city with drones 9 times. Residential buildings, commercial facilities and infrastructure were hit. As of this morning, dozens of damaged houses and commercial premises are recorded.

"The enemy tried to strike the energy infrastructure this night, but as of this morning, all consumers in the region have electricity," the head of the Regional Military Administration added.

In addition, 30 people who were injured during previous massive attacks continue to be in Zaporizhzhia hospitals. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance.

According to the SESU, the first wave of the strike on Zaporizhzhia occurred late in the evening of January 1. Three fires broke out: a non-residential extension to a high-rise building and two outbuildings caught fire. The debris damaged residential buildings, road surfaces, and cars.

The second attack took place at about 02:00 am on January 2. As a result of the strike, a shopping center caught fire. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire, SESU sappers examined the area for dangerous drone debris.
