Russians taking away any possibility of self-government from Crimeans - CCD

The authorities of the aggressor country, the russian federation, have finally deprived gauleiters of the temporarily occupied Crimea of the right to register real estate, transferring these powers to the federal structure - Roskadastr. This is stated in the message of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

Thus, it is reported that according to the law signed by russian dictator vladimir putin, the property and powers of "local authorities" must be transferred to federal bodies by December 31, 2025. Cadastral cases, registers of coordinates, all documents regarding real estate, archives, etc. are transferred to federal ownership.

The Center emphasizes that despite the fact that the powers of the "local occupation administration" regarding real estate in Crimea were rather nominal, the Kremlin is still methodically depriving local residents of any opportunities to dispose of the assets of the peninsula and make independent decisions.

"Despite the declared federalism, in practice the Kremlin deprives residents of the occupied territories of any rights. Decisions regarding all aspects of their lives and all resources of the occupied territories are made only in Moscow," the CCD notes.
