On Bankova Street, it was decided who will replace Yermak. Media names new head of President's Office

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has decided on the candidate for the future head of the Office of the President. According to ZN.UA, citing a source in the Office of the President, the main contender for this position is currently the presidential commissioner for sanctions policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk.

As the publication notes, Vlasiuk has close professional and personal ties with the former head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak. He was brought to the Office of the President by Yermak's adviser Daria Zarivna, with whom they studied together. After that, Vlasiuk worked in Yermak's close circle for a long time, which is why the Office of the President informally calls him the person of the former head of the office.

ZN.UA draws attention to the fact that the possible appointment of Vlasiuk may preserve the current balance of influence in the Office of the President and will not lead to changes in either the political line or the principles of decision-making. According to the publication's interlocutors, this will allow Andrii Yermak to continue to maintain significant informal influence on the president's work.

Vladyslav Vlasiuk has a law degree and many years of experience in state authorities. In different years, he worked in the Ministry of Justice, the National Police, was an assistant to MP, headed the anti-raider board of the Ministry of Justice, and also held leadership positions in legal structures and public organizations. Since 2020, he has been a freelance advisor to the President's Office, and since 2024, he has been the presidential commissioner for sanctions policy and a participant in international sanctions mechanisms against the russian federation.

Earlier, the Office of the President explained the delay in appointing a new head by active international negotiations. According to presidential advisor Dmytro Lytvyn, the final decision depends on consultations with the US and European partners and on what the functional profile of the new head of the President's Office will be - with a focus on security or domestic policy.

We remind you that the President's Office was unable to provide any data on the dismissal of Yermak's team from the Office.
