The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that russia has not provided any evidence to confirm the information about the alleged drone attack on the residence of russian President vladimir putin in Valdai. According to the Ukrainian side, these statements are fictitious and an element of the russian disinformation campaign.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has announced this.

He emphasized that almost a day after the accusations appeared, moscow has not presented any facts that would confirm the "attack". According to Sybiha, this will not happen, because there was no attack.

The Foreign Minister also noted that Ukraine was disappointed with the reaction of representatives of the United Arab Emirates, India and Pakistan, who expressed concern about the event that did not actually take place. The Minister noted that these countries did not make official statements when a russian missile hit the Ukrainian government building on September 7.

Sybiha emphasized that spreading false statements is a typical russian tactic. As an example, he recalled the kremlin's statements in early 2022 about the absence of intentions to invade Ukraine.

The Minister called on foreign states to be cautious about unverified accusations and not to respond to disinformation, as it harms the promotion of peace initiatives.

He also added that russia often attributes to others what it plans to do, so its statements should not be taken as reliable.

As a reminder, Sergey Lavrov accused Ukraine of sending 91 drones to putin's state residence and called these fakes "terrorism." Lavrov also said that russia will not withdraw from peace talks, but will "reconsider its negotiating positions."
