US President Donald Trump has said that now is not the time to attack russian dictator vladimir putin's residence, if indeed it was there. His words are quoted by Clash Report, CNN and Reuters on Monday, December 29.
Trump said putin informed him during a call on Monday about the alleged Ukrainian drone attack on his residence. Asked if there was any evidence of such an attack, Trump said that "we'll find out." Journalists asked whether this could affect efforts to achieve peace in Ukraine.
Trump:

Putin told me about it early in the morning. He said he was attacked.
It’s no good. It’s no good. Don’t forget, I stopped the Tomahawks.
It’s one thing to be offensive, another thing to attack his house. It’s not the right time to do any of that. pic.twitter.com/jzozgIfqqo
"I don't like this. It's not good. I learned about it from President Putin today. I was very angry about it. It's a delicate period of time. This is not the right time. It's one thing to be offensive, because they're offensive. It's another thing to attack his house. It's not the right time to do any of that," the US president said.
Trump on Russia’s claims that Ukraine tried to hit Putin’s residence:

I just heard about it actually, but I don’t know about it.
That would be too bad. pic.twitter.com/9IFNbcv2Ph
At the same time, Trump said that he did not know about the attack on russia until putin told him about it. Trump also said that it was he who prevented the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 29, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the aggressor country russia was preparing the ground for strikes on government quarters in Kyiv, accusing Ukraine of an alleged drone attack on the residence of dictator vladimir putin.
On December 29, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that russia was using its usual tactics and spreading manipulations about alleged "attempts to attack putin's residence" to undermine the peace process and justify attacks on Ukraine.
