US President Donald Trump spoke by phone with russian dictator vladimir putin about the war in Ukraine. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said this on her X-account on Monday, December 29.
She said the phone call between the two presidents was "positive."
"President Trump had a positive phone call with President Putin on Ukraine," Leavitt wrote.

The spokeswoman did not provide details about the conversation.
