In Odesa, law enforcement officers have served two servicemen of the district territorial recruitment and social support center with a notice of suspicion in the case of beating a serviceman recently released from russian captivity.
It was reported by the police of the Odesa Region.
The incident was reported in early December by the victim himself, a 27-year-old soldier who was returned from russian captivity in June.
While checking the circumstances, investigators found out that two employees of the Peresypskyi District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center were involved in the conflict. According to the investigation, a dispute arose between them and the serviceman during the check of his military records, during which the man was beaten.

Forensic medical examination revealed that the victim suffered minor injuries. Both territorial recruitment and social support center servicemen have already been notified of suspicion: one is charged with intentional light bodily harm (Part 1 of Article 125 of the Criminal Code), the other with intentional infliction of blows or other violent acts without causing bodily harm (Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code).
According to the law, such offenses are punishable by a fine, community service or correctional labor.
Territorial recruitment and social support center servicemen beat a soldier who returned from captivity: what is known?
Earlier, Odesa civic activists stated that it was a soldier of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, Roman Pokydiok, who defended Mariupol and returned from captivity about six months ago. According to them, at the time of the incident, the soldier was undergoing rehabilitation in Odesa.
The Odesa regional territorial recruitment and social support center previously reported that the management was informed about the situation and launched an internal investigation.
