AFU Air Force report how many enemy drones and missiles were neutralized

On the night of December 27, the russian occupiers launched a combined strike on Ukraine using strike UAVs and missiles. According to preliminary data, air defense neutralized 503 enemy air targets.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

They said that from 06:00 pm on December 26, the enemy launched a combined strike on critical infrastructure facilities of Ukraine using strike UAVs, air-, sea- and ground-based missiles. The main direction of the strike was the Kyiv Region.

In total, as noted, the RF radiotechnical troops detected and escorted 559 air attack vehicles - 40 missiles and 519 UAVs of various types:

• 519 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type (drones of other types) from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF, Hvardiyske - TOT AR Crimea (about 300 of them - Shaheds);
• 10 ballistic/aeroballistic missiles Iskander-M / Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (launch areas - Ryazan, Bryansk Oblasts - RF);
• 7 cruise missiles Iskander-K / Kalibr (launch area - Rostov Oblast, Black Sea waters);
• 21 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch areas - airspace of Vologda Oblast - russian federation);
• 2 Kh-22 cruise missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. According to preliminary data, as of 01:00 pm, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 503 air targets:

• 474 enemy Shahed, Gerbera UAVs (other types of UAVs);
• 6 Iskander-M/Kh-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic/aeroballistic missiles;
• 4 Iskander-K/Kalibr cruise missiles;
• 19 Kh-101 cruise missiles.

The Air Force recorded the hits of 10 missiles and 25 strike UAVs at 30 locations, the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 16 locations. In addition, as the Air Force added, one of the missiles did not reach the targets, information about 15 (lost in location) UAVs is being clarified, several enemy UAVs are in the air.
