RVC commander Denis WhiteRex Kapustin killed at front in Zaporizhzhia Region

The Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) reported that RVC commander Denis WhiteRex Kapustin was killed this night while performing a combat mission on a section of the front in the Zaporizhzhia Region. The reason was a hit by a russian FPV drone.

Other details of the soldier's death are still being investigated, the corps promises to report them later.

"We will definitely take revenge, Denis. Your cause lives on," the comrades write.

Kapustin was not only the commander, but also the co-founder of the RVC - a unit formed in August 2022 from russian migrants and volunteers fighting for Ukraine as part of the International Legion.

The corps gained media fame thanks to raids led by Kapustin in the border regions of the russian federation, in particular Belgorod and Kursk, the commander personally participated in the operations and recorded video messages from there. In the russian federation, he was recognized as a terrorist and extremist, and a number of criminal cases were opened against him, one of the courts there even convicted Kapustin in absentia for treason and terrorism.

He himself held right-wing views, before the war he was a well-known businessman - he had his own clothing brand WhiteRex - and an activist in the football fan movement.
