The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country of russia is spreading the message that the russian federation's strategic missile carriers made another "scheduled" flight near the borders of the Scandinavian countries. The flight was accompanied by the lifting of combat aircraft from NATO countries for escort. This is stated in the message of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).
We are talking about strategic Tu-95MS aircraft, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, which russia actively uses to strike at the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.
As noted, russian propaganda emphasizes that the flight was carried out "in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace", but does not even hide that such flights are a demonstration of force aimed at intimidating Europe and NATO. It is noteworthy that this act of intimidation took place on December 25, when most European countries celebrate Christmas.
"And although russian officials constantly repeat about the "absence of plans of the russian federation to attack Europe", in fact the Kremlin systematically resorts to threats and outright acts of intimidation, trying to influence public sentiment in European countries with such actions and prevent allies from helping Ukraine," the Center emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the aggressor country of russia is trying to shift responsibility for threats to nuclear security onto Ukraine.
