A chairlift with about 80 people on it stopped on Mount Zakhar Berkut (Lviv Region), mountain rescuers from the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
"As of 01.10 pm, 42 people have already been removed, including 22 children. The work is ongoing," the message says.
The height of the mountain is 1,242 meters.
