Russian occupiers hit an infrastructure facility in Odesa with a UAV, a fire broke out. Work is currently underway to eliminate the consequences of the strike. This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak in his Telegram channel.
"Today, the enemy attacked our city again. Damage to an infrastructure facility in Odesa was recorded. As a result of the UAV hit, a fire occurred. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences," he wrote.
According to the information available to Lysak, there are no deaths or injuries.
The head of the City Military Administration added that all relevant services are working on the spot. An examination of the surrounding area for damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings is ongoing.
Also, according to Lysak, the situation on the coast is being monitored.
"Regarding the situation on the coast. Specialists of the Ukrainian Scientific Center for Marine Ecology are monitoring the state of sea water and assessing the damage caused to the environment. By decision of the city commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies, work is being carried out on the coast to localize and eliminate pollution," the head of the City Military Administration noted.
Also, power engineers are working to restore power supply to Odesa residents' homes.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, December 26, russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv and its suburbs with several strike drones. As a result, consumers in the Mykolaiv district were partially cut off from power.
