French President Emmanuel Macron met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to coordinate efforts within the Coalition of the Willing.

He informed about this on X.

"I met with Mark Rutte to review the situation in Ukraine and the progress of the work being carried out within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing," Macron said.

The French President noted that starting in January in Paris, the partners will continue these efforts to provide Ukraine with reliable security guarantees, which he called a necessary condition for achieving a lasting and durable peace.

"As Russia continues its aggression, Ukraine keeps fighting and continues to demonstrate resilience. It can rely on our steadfast support, now and in the future," Macron added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the leaders of the UK, France, Germany and the US agree that now it is a critical moment for Ukraine and the security of the Euro-Atlantic region.
