A ground-based unmanned robotic complex of the Ukrainian Defense Forces held the position for a month and a half, preventing the russian occupiers from approaching it.

The 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram on Monday, December 22.

The DevDroid TW 12.7 ground drone, armed with a machine gun, was operated by operators of the NC13 unit of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. For 45 days, they deployed the UAV on duty near one of the positions.

"The ground robotic complex went on combat duty and suppressed all enemy attempts to break into our sector with machine gun fire," the statement said.

It is emphasized that during this time, the occupiers failed to capture the position or to infiltrate past it into the Ukrainian rear.

In the video published by the military, you can see how a ground drone approaches the outskirts of the forest plantation and fires from a large-caliber machine gun.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in November of this year, the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the recruitment of servicemen to a company of ground robotic complexes.

In October, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that in today's war realities, the so-called "kill zone" at the front has increased to 20 kilometers, which makes medical evacuation extremely difficult. He called the wider use of unmanned robotic complexes a solution to this problem.
