For the second day in a row, russia has been carrying out targeted attacks on Ukraine's oil and gas infrastructure, and over the past two days, almost 100 attack drones have been used against Ukrnafta's production facilities.
This is said in a statement by the Naftogaz of Ukraine group, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that as a result of the attacks, critical damage was recorded and the operation of damaged equipment was stopped.
"Rescuers and specialists of the company are working to eliminate the consequences of these attacks. Restoration work will begin immediately afterwards," said Serhii Koretskyi, the Chairman of the Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine.
Koretskyi added that the Naftogaz Group continues to operate in the face of constant military threats and is concentrating all the necessary resources to restore the damaged facilities as soon as possible and ensure the stable operation of the industry.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the aggressor country russia has launched targeted strikes on Ukraine's oil and gas infrastructure during a combined attack on the night of December 23.
