So, from 7 p.m. on December 23 and during the night of December 24, the enemy attacked with 116 Shahed, Gerbera and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of: Millerovo, Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - russia, Hvardiiske - TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 90 of these drones were Shaheds.
"The enemy launched a significant number of attack UAVs at a critical infrastructure facility in the Chernihiv Region," the statement said.
As of 8:30 a.m., the air defense has shot down/suppressed 60 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the north, south and east of the country.
48 strike UAVs were registered at 19 locations.
According to emergency officials, in the evening the enemy struck several times at the city's critical infrastructure. The hits caused a fire, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers.
In another area of the city, a drone hit the technical floor of an apartment building. No one was killed or injured, two people suffered an acute stress reaction.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, the previous night, the aggressor country russia had carried out targeted attacks on Ukraine's oil and gas infrastructure. Serious damage was recorded, and the work of damaged production facilities was suspended.
In addition, the aggressor state of russia attacked DTEK's thermal power plants, the equipment was damaged.
