"Repair crews of the regional power company are working to return the damaged equipment to operation as soon as possible," the statement said.
Today, as a result of yesterday's and previous massive attacks on the power system, hourly outage schedules and power limitation schedules for business are traditionally applied.
Electricity consumption remains high.
"All regions of Ukraine currently need to conserve energy. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, transfer energy-intensive processes to night hours - after 11 p.m. Saving electricity will help to reduce the duration of forced outages," the National Power Company added.
