A civilian ship flying the Lebanese flag, which was carrying Ukrainian soybeans, was damaged in a nighttime shelling of Odesa port.
This was announced by Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The report states that the Odesa Region and port infrastructure are again under enemy attack. Civilian warehouses and critical energy facilities were damaged.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties. The consequences of the shelling are being eliminated," Kuleba added.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that all services are carrying out a phased restoration in order to restore systems as soon as possible.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the fire in the Odesa region continued to be extinguished for several days after the attack by the aggressor state of russia on an industrial facility.
During this time, the enemy attacked it again 5 times.
