As a result of meetings with the American side, drafts of several documents have been prepared, in particular on security guarantees for Ukraine, restoration and the basic framework for ending the war. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, December 23.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Hnatov reported to Zelenskyy on the results of negotiations with the American team.
"We worked productively with representatives of President Trump, and now drafts of several documents have been prepared. In particular, there are documents on security guarantees for Ukraine, restoration and the basic framework for ending this war," the President said.
According to Zelenskyy, the points of the document are fixed today in such a way as to prevent a third russian invasion and actually end the war.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 22, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy listed the security guarantees for Ukraine that Kyiv is discussing with the United States and Europe.
Recall, on December 18, Bloomberg reported, citing its own sources, that the United States and Europe had developed an "optimistic" plan for providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
