On the night and morning of December 23, russian occupation forces launched a massive missile and drone strike on energy infrastructure facilities.
The Ministry of Energy announced this on the Telegram messenger, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Russia is again attacking our energy infrastructure. Because of this, emergency power outages have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine," the Ministry of Energy reported.
It is noted that restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows.
The emergency power outages will be canceled after the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of December 18, the russians attacked energy facilities in several regions, resulting in power outages for consumers in the Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia Regions by morning.
