The army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, tried to break through the Ukrainian defense in the Dobropillia Aixs with the help of a mechanized assault. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the attack, hitting more than two dozen units of enemy equipment.

The commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, reported this on Monday, December 22.

"Madyar" said that soldiers from the 40th and 155th Marine Brigades, as well as other units of the russian army, tried to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military. The invaders threw tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, as well as ATVs and motorcycles into the assault.

Units from the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, the USF and related units "ripped them to shreds." 24 armored vehicles and several dozen motorized vehicles were hit.

The USF commander added that russian assault troops on horses also participated in the attack on Ukrainian positions.

He did not specify in which settlement the Ukrainian military managed to repel the massive assault of the invaders.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 22, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that on the night of December 20-21, members of the resistance movement staged a sabotage at the airfield of the russian army near Lipetsk. The saboteurs managed to hit Su-27 and Su-30 fighters.

Also today, the DeepState analytical project reported that russian troops advanced in the Slovyansk and Kramatorsk Axes in the north of the Donetsk Region.
