During the night, Rusian troops struck Odesa twice. As a result of the attacks, a critical infrastructure facility of the city was damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak in Telegram.
Due to the shelling, part of one of the districts of Odesa was temporarily left without electricity.
A 30-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalized with shrapnel injuries, his condition is moderate.
Windows in a residential building were also damaged. Municipal services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
On the night of December 22, the Odesa Region was attacked several times by strike drones, as reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An air alert was declared in the Odesa and Bolhrad districts.
Earlier, on December 20, the russian occupiers massively struck the civilian infrastructure of the Odesa Region. Transport, port and industrial infrastructure facilities in the south of the region were hit. Fires broke out and facilities were damaged, but there were no casualties.
In addition, on the evening of December 19, russian troops launched a missile strike on the port infrastructure of the Odesa Region. The Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that the attack blocked the movement of freight transport on the M-15 highway "Odesa-Reni".
On the night of December 13, the region suffered one of the largest attacks since the beginning of the full-scale war. The occupiers targeted the energy infrastructure with missiles and drones, as a result of which Odesa remained without electricity for almost five days, and the city of Artsyz, according to the mayor, could be without electricity by December 26.
