On December 22, Ukraine celebrates Power Engineers Day, a professional holiday for people whose work during a full-scale war was a real feat. Despite constant russian attacks, power engineers continue to provide the country with light and heat, allowing Ukrainians to live and work even in the most difficult conditions.
During the war, power engineers repeatedly went out to perform emergency work under fire, restoring destroyed substations, power lines and heating networks, often risking their own lives. Their dedication, professionalism and endurance became one of the key factors in the stability of the energy system and the entire state.
At the same time, the war took the lives of many industry specialists. On Power Engineers Day, Ukraine also honors the memory of fallen heroes who gave their lives for the well-being, security and peace of the country. Their feat will forever remain in history and in the hearts of Ukrainians.

As a reminder, this week there will be fewer power outages.
