All healthcare facilities in the south of the Odesa Region continue to operate normally and provide medical care to residents in full. Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram.
Despite the complications of transportation, the system remains stable and is under constant control of the authorities.
- Emergency medical care and disaster medicine teams are working smoothly. Hospitalization routes have been promptly adjusted to take into account detours.
- Hospitals and outpatient clinics continue to provide emergency, urgent, scheduled, outpatient, and inpatient medical care.
- All medical facilities are staffed, equipped with medications, and have sufficient fuel to operate generators.
It is noted that in case of emergencies, residents are advised to call emergency medical care in the usual way by calling 103. Currently, the Department of Health of the Odesa Regional State Administration is constantly monitoring the situation and coordinating the interaction between all medical institutions of the region.
"To maximize patient safety in difficult cases, a clear internal interaction has been established. If it is necessary to refer a patient to health care facilities in the central part of the region, the Department of Health provides control, operational support and the optimal route," the statement said
