President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there has been significant progress in the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine, noting that the Ukrainian side is 90% satisfied with them.

He said this in an interview with the Polish news agency PAP.

According to him, Ukraine is counting on guarantees from the United States, which must be approved by the US Congress. At the same time, the head of state noted that the specific details of these agreements will be of key importance.

"It is very important how our partners will react to a possible recurrence of Russian aggression," Zelenskyy emphasized.

He also spoke about European security guarantees, noting that although not all of their provisions fully suit Ukraine, the Ukrainian side is "90% satisfied with them."

In addition, the President commented on the working draft of the peace plan, including the size of the Ukrainian army. According to the document, it is about 800,000 servicemen, which, according to Zelenskyy, meets the needs of the army.
