Russian volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion carried out a sabotage in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia Region, which temporarily paralyzed railway traffic.

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported this on Friday, December 19.

The Defense Intelligence said that in November of this year, an explosion occurred on a section of the railway between the settlements of Vesele and Novouspenivka. The railroad was blown up by members of the Freedom of Russia Legion. As a result of the explosion, a 2M62 diesel locomotive and 25 freight cars derailed.

The train was transporting ore illegally mined by russians at the Zaporizhzhia Iron Ore Plant. This ore is exported to Crimea by the occupiers.

The explosion of the railroad led to the fact that this railway line was blocked. As a result, other russian freight trains began to accumulate nearby.

After that, Ukrainian aviation struck at these warehouses, which resulted in the destruction of the occupiers' military cargo.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 10 and 11, the military of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine hit the occupied Crimea. The scouts managed to hit an An-26 aircraft and several russian radar stations.
