Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the European Solidarity faction Oleksii Honcharenko predicts that Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha will be appointed ambassador to Poland, and First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhii Kyslytsia will be appointed head of the Foreign Ministry. Honcharenko announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Sybiha is going to be an ambassador to Poland. Agreman has already been prepared (or even sent). The most likely replacement for Sybiha as minister will be Serhii Kyslytsia," he said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, MP from the Holos faction Yaroslav Zhelezniak predicted that the Verkhovna Rada would make a number of personnel decisions regarding ministers on December 16-18, but earlier this week he said that nothing would happen this week and, accordingly, this year.

In September 2024, the Verkhovna Rada appointed First Deputy Minister Andrii Sybiha as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Prior to that, Dmytro Kuleba was the head of the Foreign Ministry since March 4, 2020.
