Russians attack 9-story building in Zaporizhzhia with drone: there are injured

On the morning of December 16, russians attacked a nine-story residential building with a UAV. As a result of the shelling, 3 people were injured and are being treated. It was reported by the State Emergency Service.

"The number of victims is being clarified. Rescuers rescued 5 residents from the upper floors of the building, two of them using a ladder. People did not need medical assistance," the statement said.

At the scene, four apartments on the 5th and 6th floors caught fire over an area of 120 square meters. The fire has been extinguished. Rescuers are spilling and dismantling the destroyed structures.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, one of the victims, a 58-year-old man, is currently in serious condition with carbon monoxide poisoning, and is in hospital. Utilities have already started covering windows with OSB panels.

"Already 49 people have reported the destruction or damage to their homes to the specialists working at the site of the enemy's attack on the Zaporizhzhia high-rise building. 19 of them are social welfare recipients, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons and residents receiving state support. Seven people needed to be placed in temporary accommodation," he wrote.
