On the night of December 15, the enemy attacked power facilities in several regions with drones. As a result, consumers in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk Regions are without power in the morning. Emergency repair works are underway. It was reported by Ukrenergo.
"The most difficult situation remains in the Odesa Region, whose energy infrastructure was massively attacked by the enemy on the night of December 13. Power engineers are doing everything possible to supply power to all consumers as soon as possible," the statement said.
As a result of previous massive attacks on the power grid, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses and hourly blackouts are currently being applied in most regions of Ukraine.
Electricity consumption is showing an upward trend. This morning, its level was 7.1% higher than at this time on the previous working day - on Friday. The reason for this is that the restrictive measures in most regions have been reduced and the air temperature has dropped.
"In the regions where hourly blackouts are being applied today, there is still a need for economical energy consumption. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to the night hours after 11 p.m. Economical electricity consumption will contribute to a shorter duration of forced outages," the power engineers added.
As a reminder, UZ reported that due to the shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, a number of trains are late.
