On the night of December 13, the enemy launched another combined strike on critical infrastructure facilities of Ukraine using strike UAVs, air-, sea- and ground-based missiles. The main direction of the strike was the Odesa Region.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
In total, the Air Force radio-technical troops detected and escorted 495 air attack vehicles - 30 missiles of various types and 465 UAVs of various types. Among them:
- 465 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type, about 270 of them - Shaheds;
- 4 aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 Kinzhal;
- 5 ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23;
- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 16 Kalibr cruise missiles.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 12:00, air defense had shot down and suppressed 430 air targets:
- 417 enemy Shahed, Gerbera UAVs (other types of UAVs);
- 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 9 Kalibr cruise missiles.
"Hits of 8 missiles and 33 strike UAVs were recorded at 18 locations, the fall of downed ones (fragments) - at 3 locations. In addition, six missiles did not reach their targets (the places of fall are being specified)," the message says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of December 13, russian troops also massively attacked the Odesa Region, injuring two people. The strikes caused fires and damaged administrative buildings and energy facilities.
