This coming weekend, the US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will meet with European leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin. It is expected that French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will participate in the negotiations with Witkoff in Berlin.
This is reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing sources.
"This meeting is of crucial importance, as the White House insists on concluding an agreement to end the war with russia by the end of the year," the publication writes.
On the eve, Trump said that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is supposedly the only one who does not like the proposed peace plan.
