President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was a little more than a kilometer away from the blocked army units of the aggressor country russia during his trip to Kupiansk, Kharkiv Region.

This is evidenced by Zelenskyy's video and data from the DeepState project, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Zelenskyy posted a video filmed near the Kupiansk stele, which is located on the southwestern outskirts of the city. Earlier today, DeepState updated its map, noting the successes of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area.

According to DeepState, the Ukrainian military managed to clear the western part of the city. At the same time, there are still neighborhoods or even individual buildings in the center where the occupiers remain cut off.

One of these places, according to the DeepState map, is located 1.3 kilometers from where Zelenskyy recorded the video.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, December 12, DeepState analysts said, that the Ukrainian forces cleared the northwestern part of Kupiansk, as well as two settlements on its outskirts. Part of the occupiers' forces was blocked in the city center, their search and elimination continues.

A few hours later, President Zelenskyy published a video recorded on the outskirts of Kupiansk, which has been "surrounded" by russia for more than a month.
