Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko will receive a presidential salary and a number of other benefits, such as vehicles, personal drivers, etc., for life. This became possible thanks to the presidential decree "On the provision, maintenance and protection of V. Yushchenko" signed by Viktor Yanukovych. This is stated in the response of the State Directorate of Affairs to a request from the Ukrainian News agency.
The State Directorate of Affairs pays Viktor Yushchenko a lifetime allowance in the amount of the monthly salary of the President of Ukraine, namely UAH 28,000.
The state budget also pays for the work of two people who "ensure the activities of the president." In addition, the State Enterprise "Motor Base of the State Directorate of Affairs" provides transportation services for the former president, providing Viktor Yushchenko with two cars and four employees who service these cars (drivers).

Interestingly, additional conditions for the former president were made possible by another former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, who signed a decree on March 12, 2010, "On the provision, maintenance and protection of Viktor Yushchenko. Yushchenko", which is still in force today.
Also, according to information received at the request of the Ukrainian News agency from the Administration of State Guard of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, like his colleagues Petro Poroshenko and Leonid Kuchma, has a state bodyguard who provides them with lifelong services at the expense of the state budget not only in Ukraine but also abroad.
