Trump believes that 82% of Ukrainians want peace agreement with russia

US President Donald Trump said that 82% of Ukrainian citizens are allegedly demanding an immediate peace agreement to end the war. He told reporters during a roundtable with business leaders at the White House.

According to Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "should be realistic" in his position on peace talks. In addition, the US President noted that he is interested in when Ukraine will hold the next elections.

"Zelenskyy has to be realistic. I wonder how long it will be before they have elections? 82% of the Ukrainian people are demanding an agreement," Trump said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy previously outlined three key conditions under which Ukraine can hold presidential elections during a full-scale war. According to him, first of all, it is necessary to ensure the security of the electoral process, guarantee the ability to vote for servicemen at the front, and make appropriate changes to the legislation.
