The number of participants in the non-bank financial market in November decreased by six companies - to 781, the number of licensed banks in November remained unchanged - 60.
This is stated in the report of the NBU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In November, at the initiative of the applicant, the licenses of four institutions were revoked: a financial company, a risk insurer and two credit unions. The licenses of three financial companies were revoked involuntarily. The NBU also renewed the license of a credit union.
Six non-bank financial institutions were excluded from the registers. In particular, one risk insurer and two credit unions were removed at the initiative of the applicant. Three financial companies were forcibly removed from the register.
As of December 1, 2025, the non-bank financial services market included 414 financial companies (there were 417 a month earlier), 48 non-life insurers (there were 49), 10 life insurers (the number has not changed), one insurer with a special status, 102 pawnshops (the number has not changed), 86 credit unions (there were 88), one lessor (the number has not changed), 45 insurance brokers (the number has not changed) and 74 collection companies (the number has not changed).
The number of banking groups remained unchanged (16). The number of non-bank financial groups decreased by one in November (41).
There are 15 payment systems operating in the payment market, including state-owned ones (the number has not changed) and 10 international ones (the number has not changed).
At the same time, 16 payment institutions (the number has not changed), 12 financial institutions authorized to provide payment services (the number has not changed), one bank issuing electronic money (the number has not changed), and one postal operator (the number has not changed) operate in the market of financial payment service providers.
Other entities operating in the payment market include 58 commercial agents (there were 49) and 32 payment service technology operators (the number has not changed).
In November, the NBU received 207 requests from market participants for registration and licensing actions. The number of inquiries regarding financial companies, pawnshops and lessors amounted to 137, insurers - 35, credit unions and collection companies - 7, banks - 27, and payment institutions - 1.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the number of non-bank financial market participants in October decreased by 4 companies to 787, the number of banks remained unchanged at 60.
