The winger of Chelsea and Ukraine international Mykhailo Mudryk was stopped by British police for violating traffic rules. According to local media, the footballer was driving a BMW worth GBP 140,000 (approximately UAH 7,792,000) with excessively tinted windows and Ukrainian license plates without permission, which is contrary to UK law.
As the court found, Mudryk was driving despite a current driving ban imposed in September 2025. The Ukrainian also failed to provide the police with an insurance policy and other necessary documents.
The footballer explained that he got behind the wheel because there was no driver when he was supposed to go to training. The court ultimately imposed a new one-year driving ban on Mudryk, ordered him to perform 60 hours of community service and fined him GBP 199.

As previously reported, as of September 1, 2025, the Ukrainian footballer has accumulated 13 penalty points over the past 18 months. The most recent episode was speeding on the southern London bypass, where his BMW M8 was traveling 36 miles per hour in a 20 zone. That is, Mudryk was traveling at 58 km/h in a 32 km/h zone. As a result, he was deprived of his driver's license.
