The Reserve+ application has been updated, and from now on, the owner's photo will be automatically displayed in the electronic document. It was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
To do this, it is enough to update the application to the latest version and the document in it.
"We want digital tools to provide tangible benefits in everyday situations. The availability of photos will make the verification of citizens' documents faster and more transparent for everyone," said Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization.
Important clarifications:
- The photo will appear only for users who have a biometric passport.
- The ID Reserve without a photo has the same legal force as the ID Reserve with a photo.
- In the coming days, due to the high load, the photo may take longer to be uploaded. If this does not happen within a few days, use the "Correct data online" function in the application menu.
Earlier, Reserve+ introduced the function of registering a deferment due to disability of one of the parents.
