Member of Parliament Maryana Bezuhla, who advocates for increasing salaries for MPs, earns UAH 1.5 million per year.

This is evidenced by the data from her electronic declaration for the past year, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Last year, she earned UAH 740,000 in salary, as well as UAH 816,000 in compensation for the cost of travel within Ukraine, renting housing or renting a hotel room, and for reimbursement of expenses related to the performance of MP's powers, determined by the budget of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Bezuhla rents an apartment in Kyiv, although she has her own in the same city.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, MP, former member of the banned political force Opposition Platform - For Life, Anatolii Burmich reacted to the Verkhovna Rada's increase in payments to MPs by UAH 120,000. He stated that MP should not be poor and beggar, because it is very easy to manage such people. According to him, MP should be independent, and in order for him to be independent, he should not walk around in torn pants and run around like a beggar.

MP Maryana Bezugla commented on rumors circulating on the Internet about her alleged secret wedding with a famous military officer Valerii Markus.
