Bodies of two missing people found in Ternopil after russian strike on high-rise building

The bodies of two more victims of the russian attack that took place in the city on November 19 have been found in Ternopil. This was reported by the head of the regional police, Serhii Ziubanenko, on Facebook.

"Two more killed people, who were considered missing, have been found," he wrote.

As of December 8, 38 people were known to have been killed, eight of them children. Three more adults are considered missing.

According to Ziubanenko, the investigation is ongoing.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian strategic aviation attacked Ternopil with Kh-101 missiles on November 19. The strike hit apartment buildings, killing and injuring dozens of residents.

Ternopil declared a three-day mourning period for those killed in the missile attack.

In addition, Ternopil will not put up a New Year tree this year due to the russian attack.
