The head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, reacted to the report that a russian bomber accidentally eliminated two of its own pilots. This is stated in his message on Facebook.
According to information available from russian propagandists, the navigator and pilot were killed as a result of the accidental activation of the ejection mechanism, receiving injuries incompatible with life.
Yurii Ihnat also expressed hope that, in addition to the death of the pilots, the incident also caused a "small fire on the aircraft", which completely disabled it.
"God exists! I really hope that the pyrotechnic cartridges of both catapults, which crashed into the ceiling of the reinforced concrete shelter, caused a "small fire on the aircraft", or some other "incompatible" reasons with its operation! Death to the enemies!" Ihnat wrote.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the airfields of the strategic aviation of the aggressor country of russia were attacked. Explosions were heard, in particular, at the Shaykovka airfield and the Kaluga airport in the Kaluga Oblast of the russian federation.
