The head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (DIU), Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukrainian military intelligence has the ability to listen to conversations of high-ranking representatives of the kremlin. A correspondent of the RBC-Ukraine media outlet has reported this.
It is reported that during a conversation with the correspondent, Kyrylo Budanov briefly confirmed the capabilities of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
"We can, yes. We get paid for it," he said.
It is noted that Budanov's comment was made against the backdrop of publications in a number of Western media, where a version appeared that it was allegedly Ukraine that could have handed over to journalists records of conversations between russian dictator vladimir putin's adviser Yuri Ushakov and envoy Kirill Dmitriev.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Saturday, December 6, specialists of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine together with the BO Team conducted a cyber strike on the information and communication infrastructure of the Eltrans+ group of companies.
Earlier, the Defense Intelligence conducted another operation in the occupied Crimea, which resulted in the destruction of a russian fighter jet and radar.
