Defense forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory.
Since the beginning of this day, 77 combat clashes have taken place.
This is stated in the data published by the Command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the agency's Facebook page.
Today, the communities of the border settlements, in particular Kliusy and Halahanivka in the Chernihiv Region, suffered from enemy artillery fire.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has fired 72 times at the positions of our troops and localities, including two times from multiple rocket launchers.
On the Kupiansk axis, the russian occupiers attacked the positions of our defenders six times in the directions of the settlements of Pishchane and Kolisnykivka, one battle is ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, the invading army carried out nine attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Hrekivka, Tverdokhlibove, Zarichne and in the directions of Novoserhiivka, Novyi Myr and Stavky. Three battles are ongoing.
On the Sloviansk axis, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks. The invading units tried to advance near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Siversk and Fedorivka, another battle is ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 14 assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka and towards the settlements of Stepanivka and Berestok. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the russian invaders made 21 attempts to push our defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of Nove Shakhove, Novopavlivka and in the directions of the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 20 enemy attacks, one battle is still ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy is trying to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vorone, Rybne and towards Danylivka. Our soldiers have repelled five enemy assaults, two more attacks are ongoing.
On the Huliaipole axis, seven combat clashes took place in the direction of Huliaipole.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy carried out one futile attack in the area of Stepove.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
On the remaining axes, there were no significant changes.
