On December 5, 184 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk (51 clashes) and Kostiantynivka (27).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 53 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 137 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy involved 6,602 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,988 attacks, including 138 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On December 5, 184 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Ukrainian defenders repelled one russian attack. The enemy carried out 2 airstrikes here using 5 guided bombs and carried out 198 attacks, including six with MLRS.
On the South- Slobozhanshchyna axis, ten clashes took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Prylipka, Odradne and towards Izbitske and Lyman.
On the Kupiansk axis, five attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and towards Hlushkivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 19 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Novovodiane, Novoiehorivka, Zarichne, Derylove and Kolodiazi.
On the Sloviansk axis, the aggressor attacked 8 times near Dronivka, Serebrianka and towards Siversk.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near the settlements of Novomarkove and Vasiukivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the russians carried out 27 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka and Rusyn Yar.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 51 attacks of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Maiak, Volodymyrivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Molodetske, Kotliarivka, Yalta and Dachne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy assault actions on the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Sosnivka, Yehorivka, Pryvilne, Rybne and Krasnohirske.
On the Huliaipole axis, seven combat clashes were recorded on the areas of the settlements of Solodke, Dobropillia and Huliaipole.
Four combat clashes took place on the Orikhiv axis - the invaders tried to advance near the settlement of Stepnohirsk and towards Prymorske.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian units repelled six enemy attacks.
Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit three enemy artillery systems.
The losses of the russian occupation forces on December 5 amounted to 1,180 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 4, 167 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (52 clashes) and Oleksandrivka (19) axes.
