Ukrainian defense forces reduced the number of russian occupation army by 1,180 invaders over the past day. Russia's total combat losses in manpower amounted to 1 million 179 thousand 790 people. Enemy equipment and weapons were also eliminated.
Updated data on russian losses were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition to the enemy army personnel, on December 5, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated two tanks (11,398), two armored combat vehicles (23,688), 31 artillery systems (34,874), two MLRS (1,560), 487 operational and tactical UAVs (87,387).
Also, 130 units of motor vehicles and tankers (69,037) and one unit of special equipment (4,015) were destroyed.
All in all, russia lost 655 units of weapons and equipment, including drones, over the day.
In total, during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, russia also lost 1,253 air defense systems, 431 aircraft, 347 helicopters, 4,024 cruise missiles, 28 ships/boats, and a submarine.
