NATO Representation to Ukraine looking for security guards with russian language skills

The NATO Representation to Ukraine has announced a vacancy for a security officer. The requirements, in addition to work experience and a driver's license, include knowledge of Ukrainian, English and, preferably, russian. This is stated in the announcement published on the official Facebook page of the Representation in Ukraine.

Applicants are offered a short-term contract at a rate of EUR 1,615.73 per month (payment is made in UAH at a fixed exchange rate, taxation is in accordance with local law).

"The security guard will provide security for the NATO Representation to Ukraine and may be involved in transportation tasks as needed," the vacancy states.

The mandatory requirements for candidates include, among other things, Ukrainian citizenship, a driver's license, at least three years of experience in security-related work, the ability to use radio and satellite communications, and language skills: English - level 3 (Intermediate), Ukrainian - level 6 (Proficient).

The "desirable requirements" include "established contacts in the National Police, National Guard and emergency services in Kyiv and other regions," experience as a professional driver, special driver training (emergency driving, winter driving, experience in the military environment and knowledge of russian (Intermediate level).

The job posting also states that the candidate must be willing to work outside of standard working hours.

As previously reported, the 63rd separate mechanized brigade recently posted a vacancy for a tattoo artist. After this unusual offer was noticed on social media, the brigade explained that they were looking for a tattoo artist to improve the conditions of the military.
